After-School/Extended Day Care

At My Friends Montessori, our Extended Day program offers a warm, relaxed continuation of the day where children can engage in open-ended, cooperative activities such as building, puzzles, art, dramatic play, and storytelling, all designed to encourage creativity, independence, and social connection.

Weather permitting, we provide ample outdoor playtime, supporting gross motor development and a meaningful connection with nature. Additional offerings may include gardening, baking, seasonal art or craft projects, music, board games, movement activities and quiet book time or reading. Practical life activities like folding, tidying, or helping set up snack further build confidence and responsibility. We continue to model grace & courtesies as we support social interactions and emotional well-being, creating a nurturing space where children can relax, explore, and continue learning according to their own individual interests.
