My Friends Montessori offers a Montessori-based school and childcare program designed to nurture the whole child in a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. We are a year-round program offering a 4- or 5-day option. Our base day is from 7:30 to 3:30 with the option to add aftercare Mon-Thurs. We welcome children from 18 months to 6 years old, fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning through the Montessori philosophy. Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, this child-centered approach is grounded in scientific observation and supports natural learning tendencies. Our program emphasizes self-directed learning, hands-on exploration, respect for the child, and a thoughtfully prepared environment that encourages freedom within limits. Montessori educators guide and observe each child’s development, offering and guiding children into lessons tailored to their individual needs. Through a balance of teacher-led instruction and child-led discovery, we support the holistic development of each child in a setting that values both structure and freedom.
